Chester Grosvenor

This archetypal streets-cape of Chester High Street informed 33 Interiors design for The Chester Grosvenor guest-room. The graphical shapes found in the surrounding architecture have been subtly suggested in the joinery, furniture and wall finishes. The furniture hints at the neighbouring Tudor patterns with grooves to the front of the drawers, accentuated with a contrasting taupe veneer finish and hardwood American Black Walnut. Like the High Street to the hotel, these act as the architecture to the room, giving a sense of place and binding the hotel with its city’s heritage.
