01 meet maddy

You meet Maddy, your designer and owner of Amongst Things. We can meet online or in-person (covid-19 permitted), here is where I will take you through our interior design consultation process.

This involves us establishing your practical needs, as well as your style preferences and discussing the space(s). Before our chat, you will receive some details via email, this is to help you gather any information Amongst Things may need to review in order to prepare for our first meet.

02 idea generation

Once we have received and gathered all the information we need, for example, a site survey/measurements, photos and any drawings, Amongst Things can get started. Behind the scenes, we will develop an interior design scheme based on our initial consultation.

HOMEOWNERS: You will receive a personalised presentation for your review and discussion. This gives you an opportunity to offer feedback before we move onto refining your interior design scheme.

COMMERCIAL CLIENTS: This process can vary, depending on the project needs, therefore we will discuss and begin our level of input in our initial meeting..

03 THE DESIGN

Amongst Things will take on board your feedback and move forward with your final personal interior design scheme.

As we are working away to finalise everything, we may have a few questions and items to coordinate with other trades/specialists.

HOMEOWNERS: For larger projects, there are usually interim meeting(s), depending on the project needs.

COMMERCIAL CLIENTS: Design iterations and meetings are adjusted and programmed to meet the project requirements.

04 SHOP & SAVE

Once completed, you will receive your full design presentation and shopping list in your inbox! Any discounts we negotiate with our suppliers are passed on directly to you.

Clients who purchase our ALL THE PERKS package will also receive additional information, such as technical design intent drawings to hand over to you contractor and/or decorator.

COMMERCIAL CLIENTS: this process is customised to suit the project. More information and technical considerations are usually needed.

05 procurement & installation

We offer procurement and installation services at an additional cost.

The ordering process can be time-consuming and stressful. On your behalf, Amongst Things can manage deposits, final payments and delivery dates with suppliers and manufacturers.

We can also be there to take deliveries and check items are the quality expected and not damaged/faulty.
